The QMobile Energy X1 is another one of the company’s entry-level smartphones. Hitting the shelves somewhere in mid-February 2017 with an expected launch price of rupees 10,750, is the Energy X1 the shot of refreshes you were looking for?
A display and build quality that can deceive
The smartphone features a 5.0 inches capacitive touchscreen with 240ppi pixel density. Although its screen size is adequate, the pixel density only allows it to support the 540p resolution that takes all the gloss off its display. Considering its build quality, the smartphone’s removable back panel features a fine matt finish that upon first look seems metal. Dimensions wise, not so much as the smartphone’s waist stands at 9.3mm while it also weighs in a bulky 184g.
The Energy X1 features two identical camera sensors; both the primary and secondary cameras feature 5 megapixels worth of power with the primary one accompanied by a LED flash as well. We’re very happy with the selfie sensor as most smartphones within this price range tend to bank on 2-megapixel ones or worse, even VGAs!
The smartphone is powered by a Quad-Core processor with 1GB of RAM. Underpowered to a lot of extents, lag will be frequent on the built-in Android Marshmallow. Its crowning feature is its larger than life 5000 mAh non-removable battery which arguably contains enough juice to last for more than a day.
